BARBARA F. CULLEN (Co-Creator)

Barb studied at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and has been singing and dancing professionally since age 16. She has choreographed more than 200 professional productions and concerts including: CATS, 42ND STREET, SINGIN IN THE RAIN,  THE MUSIC MAN and NEVERMORE. Directing credits include: GUYS AND DOLLS, FOREVER PLAID, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS and OKLAHOMA. Favorite roles include: Cassie in A CHORUS LINE, Lola in DAMN YANKEES, Rhetta in PUMPBOYS AND DINETTES and Nugget Rialto in CLUB MORROCO, which she co-wrote with partner Jon Huffman. Her talents have been displayed at Derby Dinner Playhouse, The Encore Musical Theatre and Actors Theatre of Louisville, and dozens of theatres across the country. Barb co-directed and choreographed the new musical version of IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE at the Encore Musical Theatre: book by Jon Huffman, lyrics by Kathie Lee Gifford, music by John McDaniel.

 

JON HUFFMAN (Co-Creator)

Jon co-wrote CLUB MOROCCO with Barbara Cullen. A theatre professional for over thirty years, Jon is the author of several plays, including STUDY BREAK and THE STICK-UP, both of which premiered at Actors Theatre Of Louisville, the new musical IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE (with collaborators Kathie Lee Gifford and John McDaniel), and the upcoming DEAN MARTIN, KING OF COOL.  Also a screenwriter, Jon wrote CONVICTION for Paramount Pcitures, starring Omar Epps and Dana Delaney; and LEP IN THE HOOD for Trimark Pictures, starring Ice-T.  An actor who’s been onstage playing everything from Iago in OTHELLO to Harold Hill in THE MUSIC MAN, Jon has also been a regular on Days Of Our Lives, General Hospital, and Designing Women, as well as acting in dozens of feature films, including Lolita with Jeremy Irons; Little Man Tate with Jodie Foster, and Fled with Laurence Fishburne.


 

 

ASHTON WOLF (Music Arranger / Music Coordinator)

 

 

After graduating from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, ASHTON has performed in hundreds of venues across the country. As a writer,  he has had three original musicals produced for the stage; JACK OF ALL TRADES (recipient of 6 DRAMA-LOGUE AWARDS - Including Ashton’s for “Best Director”); COMING HOME (Cal State Los Angeles) and CLUB MOROCCO (serving as arranger/music co-ordinator). On stage he has performed at LA MIRADA CIVIC LIGHT OPERA, DERBY DINNER PLAYHOUSE, CANDLELIGHT PAVILION and THE SANTA MONICA CIVIC AUDITORIUM... to name but a few: playing such roles as Rooster Hannigan in ANNIE, Jackson in PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES, The Pirate King in PIRATES OF PENZANCE and Teen Angel in GREASE. He has appeared in many Film and Television Productions and has worked with such notables as  John Goodman, Chevy Chase, Dan Ackroyd, Meryl Streep, Bruce Willis, Ray Charles and Cuba Gooding, Sr. An accomplished piano player/vocalist and arranger, he has been a headline entertainer on THE QUEEN MARY and THE ROYAL CARRIBEAN CRUISE LINE.
